The Microcredit Clearinghouse brings the best microcredit projects in the world to the attention of charitable foundations and high net worth individuals. This Web site is meant for use of those who are willing to fund projects at least $100,000 in size.

On the "sell side" are many of the best microcredit organizations in the world. They bring many of their best projects and ideas to this market. These organizations compete with one another to obtain funding for their projects and to develop relationships with potential donors or lenders.

On the "buy side" are wealthy individuals and foundations wanting to eliminate poverty and its associated problems in undeveloped countries. These buyers compete with one another to fund projects.

The Microcredit Clearinghouse provides a one-stop market where these buyers and sellers can communicate. The Clearinghouse is unique since it is a free service, uses a standardizing evaluation method so projects can be compared, encourages the measurement of project results, and has the appropriate relationships.
